The Hanging House is a place designed to let guests disconnect and enjoy nature. There’s no TV or wi-fi connection and instead one can admire the beautiful views, interact with others and spend time outdoors. The house was designed and built by studioCasa Container Maríliaand is located in Campos Novos, Brazil. Over 70% of all materials used throughout this project are recycled.

The Hanging House is elevated from the ground level using a series of metal pillars

The house is made out ofreclaimed shipping containersand uses reclaimed wood on its walls and ceilings. Furthermore, the interior doors are made from reused plates from the containers.
