Love herbs but don’t have a lot of space for a garden? Try making this pallet herb garden planter that is perfect in a yard, or on a deck or patio. Start by removing every other crossbar as shownfrom the wooden pallet. Use the same cross bars to top off the remaining horizontal bars, creating boxes. Turn the structure over and paint the front of each box withchalkboard paint. Let it dry and then line each box with a dark plastic garbage bag. Place some stone in the bottom of each planting trough and fill it with potting medium. Add your herb plants, label each one and watch them grow. You’ll have a full season of fresh herbs from this space-saving pallet planter!
