This combination of bricks and white paint is rather unusual. On one hand, bricks have that natural reddish color which usually creates that warm feel in a room. However, even if you take that away and replace it with white, which is a cold and impersonal color, the wall will still keep its texture and pattern so not everything is lost. In fact, it’s a great compromise for those who wish to update their interior design and make it more modern and simple but still preserve some of the original charm.

Be advised that, once you decide to paint a brick wall white or any other color, it will be very difficult if not even impossible to later restore it to its original state and glory. It is a very drastic change so be prepared to live with it for years to come.
